Endellion Waves is a collaboration with poet Alyson Hallett, which started out during our week's residency with the Endellienta Trust in June 2016. The video presents a sequence of still photographs: Alyson in a red linen dress emerging from and re-submerging into a sea of green ripening barley, at different points around a field. This performance took place near St Endellion church, close to the coast of north Cornwall. The sound of waves coming to shore backs Alyson’s reading of her poem Transparencies.
